The place was Koo Chye Ba Sheng Hong Temple, situated at Arumugam Rd. This temple is one of the focal points where temples and sintuas (shrines) having celebrations and processions, commonly known in Singapore Hokkien as “yewkeng”, would visit to pay their respects to the City God (城隍 Cheng Huang). Today, 8 Aug 09, these Tua Li Ya Pek (大二爷伯 Da Er Ye Boh) from Long Cheng Dian 龙城殿 was talking a walk from the Sheng Hong Temple to the neighbouring temple.
